The Counter on Unknownworlds.com already shows 2hours 30~ mins left for pre-ordering NS2 so the Alpha access is going to start soon. Everyone who wants to play the Alpha “GET READY FOR THE FIGHT!! ”

Hello! Everyone welcome irc.fuckinslack.net and of course the new admins Slack, kindari and CyrusJackson to irc.devnode.net! We successfully linked up our IRC servers 2 days ago.

Finally. Non-Profit License Registration is now availble for TeamSpeak3!
Originaly on the website it says:
“NON-PROFIT LICENSE REGISTRATION is for NON-PROFIT entities who wish to upgrade their TeamSpeak 3 Server license to allow a maximum of 10 virtual servers and 512 slots. Non-profit entities include but are not limited to organizations such as online gaming clans, guilds, or friends and family who utilize TeamSpeak software in a manner in which profit or gain of any kind is NOT the principal purpose for registration.”
We also requested our first license here.

Finally the Teamspeak3 beta has been released.
At the moment www.teamspeak.com leads directly to the download links due to heavy traffic.
They announced that the website will return once the traffic settles down.
I’ve installed a testserver on devnode.net. Works great till now..

Windows 7 is available now! Since 22nd of October. Alot people call it “the working Vista”. Its easier ,faster, and more compact. Vista can be easily upgraded to Windows 7.
If you have a touchscreen you can now use it with Windows7.
8 million beta users (1mil. in germany) have contributed to help getting seven more stable and performant.
It now uses alot less memory than. Vista and the beta-RC1.
A testversion can be downloaded at microsoft.

Today we added some restrictions/rules and black/whitelists to postfix so most of the spam will be blocked by default now.

The IRCdeamon which runs our IRC server irc.devnode.net has just successfully been updated.

The ReleaseCandidate1 of Unreal3.2.8 was now replaced with the current stable latest version 3.2.8.1. Thatfor the IRC server had to be restarted tonight but everything is up and running again.

I was just wondering why xampp was not starting correctly when I clicked on the Apache “Start” button and found out that Skype uses port 80 and 443 as well.  heh. Duh!

To fix go into Skype -> Preferences -> Connections -> disable port 80 and 443.

They are used as alternative for incoming connections.

Since 29, 2008, 6:27 am EST, Syzop the UnrealIRCd head coder announced that Unreal 3.2.8-rc1 has been released for testing. I’m going to upgrade all servers soon.
